GRS Global Renewables Shipbrokers, OWS Off-Shore Wind Solutions and A1 Offshore Solutions announce the Sale of the DP2 Walk-to-Work Vessel OCEAN ZEPHYR

GRS has developed and arranged the sale of OCEAN ZEPHYR (incl. Ampelmann A Type) from Emden based OWS Off-Shore Wind Solutions to Denmark based A1 Offshore Solutions. The delivery took place on the 24th of March 2017 in Emden and the vessel will continue a charter for a German Wind Farm under its well-known name OCEAN ZEPHYR.

SeaZip is spreading its wings to the UK

It has responded to the appeal made by the British government to companies specialising in renewable offshore energy to set up business in the UK. LM Wind Power lays first stone at Cherbourg blade factory

LM Wind Power, one of the world's leading manufacturers of wind turbine blades, announced today that work on its new factory in Cherbourg, Normandy, has commenced. This was marked with a foundation stone ceremony at the construction site, chaired by French Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, in the presence of industry and representatives from the local partners, including Normandy region, the Manche Department, the local community of Cherbourg and the port authority, Ports Normands Associés.  The company brings an initial investment of more than € 100 million into the development of the Cherbourg site which is expected to grow to a capacity between 1.2 and 2.0 GW.
