DONG Energy inaugurates its Gode Wind 1 and 2 offshore wind farms

DONG Energy has celebrated the inauguration of the Gode Wind 1 and 2 offshore wind farms at the Danish Embassy in Berlin. With 97 wind turbines and a total capacity of 582 megawatts, the two offshore wind farms generate enough power to supply approx 600,000 households in Germany annually.

Fugro conducts UXO surveys at Borssele Wind Farm

Fugro, an independent provider of geo-intelligence and asset integrity solutions, has been awarded a joint contract with Boskalis for survey and identification of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the Borssele Wind Farm Zone.

Siemens Gamesa to supply EnBW Albatros offshore wind farm

Following the 497 MW order for the EnBW Hohe See offshore wind farm, EnBW has also awarded Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy with the installation of the neighbouring 112 MW project EnBW Albatros.

Project certification for Sandbank offshore wind farm completed

TÜV SÜD’s experts have supported the large-scale project over the past 30 months. Certification was awarded in accordance with the standard of the German Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), and covers supervision and inspection of wind turbine, foundation, sub-station and internal cable manufacturing, transport, installation and commissioning for the wind farm.
