A2SEA signs contract to install 102 turbines on East Anglia ONE

From summer 2019, A2SEA’s purpose-built offshore installation vessel Sea Challenger will be deployed to install 102 Siemens 7 MW turbines on East Anglia ONE from the load out port in Great Yarmouth in the UK.

Prysmian awarded cables supply contract for Rentel

Prysmian Group, specialist in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, has been awarded a contract worth up to € 13 milion by Tideway B.V. for the Rentel offshore wind farm project.

Siemens wins service order for Veja Mate

Siemens has received an order for the maintenance and upkeep of the Offshore Substation (OSS) and turbine substructures of the Veja Mate offshore project. Siemens will install 67 six MW class turbines for the 400 MW wind power plant and connect it to land with the BorWin2 DC grid connection.

Senvion wins order over 203 MW for Trianel Borkum II

Senvion will deliver the offshore turbines for Trianel Windpark Borkum II. The project shall consist of 32 turbines from the Senvion 6.XM series.

Sandbank feeds first power into the grid

The offshore wind farm Sandbank has supplied its first wind power to the German electricity network. The first of the wind farm’s 72 wind turbines are successively being commissioned for power production.

First turbine on Burbo Bank Extension installed

The first turbine on DONG Energy’s offshore wind farm Burbo Bank Extension has been installed. It was also the first installation ever of the new 8 MW turbine produced by MHI Vestas, the V164-8.0 MW.

Three weeks ahead of schedule, the inter-array cables for offshore wind farm Nordsee One have been installed by SIEM Offshore Contractors GmbH. The foundations and the offshore substation for the 54 wind turbines have also already been installed.

First offshore wind farm of the U.S. enters final construction stage

DNV GL completed due diligence work of Nordergründe

On August 16, the first wind energy turbine has been installed at the offshore wind site Nordergründe in the German North Sea. The first turbine of the 111 MW wind park was produced by Senvion and has a capacity of 6.15 MW.
